Nicole graduated from St.
Olaf College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin
Performance. At St. Olaf, she played violin in various chamber
groups, was assistant concertmaster of the St. Olaf Orchestra, and
played viola de gamba in St. Olaf's Collegium. She is currently
the conductor and co-founder of the Lirica
Chamber Ensemble. Chamber music is one of her main
interests and she is so glad to be part of a group as charismatic as
the Urthema String Quartet. She has started studying baroque violin
practices and hopes to study further in the years to come. She also
loves teaching and interacting with younger students who are
interested in all aspects of music. Outside of music, Nicole enjoys
making things, camping/canoeing and her two adorable kitties. |
